I love watching zebras, especially in African Savannah but also in the zoos. In the wild zebra are very wary of people and, more often than not, you see them running away (exposing their rumps to your lens). They’re more relaxed in captivity, presumably because no predators are around. I especially enjoyed their pattern of stripes in this herd as they were feeding.
Desert View Watchtower, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
Thanks for the nice words, TravelandNature!
