A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.

I grew up in the projects called Prospect Park in Whitehall. I went to Slippery Rock U. and now live in a different part of Allegheny County. Still a Pittsburgh sports fan.
RBCIAO … I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. What neighborhood were you from? I lived in Etna as a small child then we moved up Route 8 to Wildwood by the coal mine where most neighbors worked. Drafted by the US Army in my senior year at Edinboro and never returned to reside again in the ‘Burgh. I’m a big ‘Burgh sports fan and suffer through the Pirate campaigns.
