Since last Wednesday’s Where in the World was unmercifully picked off in a hot second by second-time spotter Port Moresby, here’s a second chance for this week. Log on to Gumbo and leave your answer in a comment to this blog (if you’re not a member yet, click HERE to join–it’s free and fun!)
If you have a puzzling picture you’d like to offer for Where in the World, send it to us at [email protected] for consideration! Like the puzzle, there are no prizes, just the glory of knowing and sharing with fellow travelers. And, of course, a credit line.
So a few questions, PHeymont?
1) Is it in Europe?
2) Is it in France?
3) Is it in Paris?
Too soon to tell…
Does Grouchy’s appearance mean the puzzle has committed une bêtise?
If so, apologies and a hint: Il est sur un pont, comme PM dit, mais je ne dirai pas lequel.
Jusqu’à demain, à 5 heures!
I feel DrF. hovering. I’m guessing the Pont Notre-Dame in Paris. Besides the lyrical ironwork, the handrail is distinctive, smooth & without any interruptions.
Diagnosis by shadow and silhouette! You are setting the bar at 50 m high, PHeymont!
