Emerging from its recently approved merger with US Air, American Airlines placed a huge multibillion dollar order for 220 regional jets (Bombadier and Embraer). The new planes are to replace its aging American Eagle planes and will offer passengers improved comfort, wi-fi, all with reduced flying costs. Here’s that link.

A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
