So many churches, so many differences…and so many similariies. This one is not like the two previous churches that featured in previous puzzles, but it is surely somewhat like many you have seen.
Gumbo continues his hopping from place to place, from century to century, and invites you to see if you can figure out where he is this time. This is more fun than a gig as a Roaming Troll for Travelocity!
As usual:
1. You are invited to poke at the details, share ideas and more with fellow guessers by posting to this thread. You must be a member to post, but it’s free and easy. Click HERE.
2. Please do not claim victory publicly until Monday afternoon…even if you are sure you have the answer. If you can’t wait, you can time-stamp your final guess by e-mail to [email protected] and we’ll publish your guess Monday evening.
3. As usual, no prize but recognition. And if you have a puzzling picture, a hidden haunt, a mysterious moment that you’d like to see featured, send that along, too. You can even be the puzzlemaster if your picture is used.
But act fast…Gumbo is on the go again, and by Wednesday, he’ll have a new puzzle.
Here is a helpful (hah!) map of the locations of Gothic cathedrals and other structures throughout Europe.
Puzzle #12 is still open—and waiting to hear from you.
I’ll drop a hint a day until this really gets going.
Hint #1: The church is named for a color, but that’s not the color the church is!
Let’s hear from you!
