Airbnb: We’re Not at War with Hotels (and we’re bigger!)

Airbnb, the big vacation rental site, is now so big it’s about to become the world’s largest hotelier—except it says it’s not really in that business, and not at war with those who are. Airbnb’s chief says he’s in favor of reasonable regulation, but not as a hotel business. He also says that most of Airbnb’s rentals are outside normal hotel zones, and that the money saved by guests is poured into other local businesses. Daily Telegraph INTERVIEW
