For the classic car aficionados among us, this offering from Lonely Planet’s newletter this morning, ‘Top 10 Classic Car Rides’. From Aston Martin to Mustang, it’s possible to drive the car of our dreams in real life (or on holiday), including one with which I have more than a little experience, India’s signature ride, the Ambassador. I concur with their suggestion that one may want to opt for the latter with driver.
Desert View Watchtower, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
