New Orleans plans an “unplugged” airport

New Orleans is planning a new nearly-billion-dollar terminal for its Louis Armstrong International Airport, and part of the planning is to cover the roofs of the futuristic building with enough solar panels that the airport will be able to power itself. USA Today has DETAILS

We’re waiting to see them start to build this. Things move slow down here, but it could be the boost our city needs to bring in new business.
