Alaska Airlines, for whom Seattle is a key hub, is highlighting its new codeshare partnership with British Airways by offering double frequent flyer miles on Seattle-London flights.
Delta has recently been moving aggressively into the Seattle market, seeing it as a key point in its Asian as well as domestic strategy; the new connection and offer may be part of Alaska’s strategy to hold on to its market.
