Survival of the fittest, Garry!
I didn’t realise how unpleasant Pelicans were until I was Fishing off the Pier in Clearwater. He sat next to me trying to steal my bait from my bucket. After a few threatening fists he stopped, but remained at my side. Then I finally caught a fish. The Pelican opened its wings and took flight from the pier. As soon as my captive fish was above water the Pelican stole it off my line. Mugged by a bird !! Grrr….
