Beavertail State Park in Rhode Island is in the town of Jamestown. It sits on the southern tip of an island in the Narragansett Bay. The first light house here was built in 1749. This current light house was built in 1898.
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
