Peggy’s Cove is found about 45 km south of Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the East Coast of Canada. Formed by plate tectonics and sculpted by glaciers and the tides of the Atlantic, its rugged landscape attracts tourists and locals alike.
Unique croppings of giant rocks create a fun area for some rock scrambling, and provide impressive views of the Altantic Ocean. Topping the rocks is the famous Peggy’s Point Lighthouse, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world.
Nearby are several photogenic small fishing communities, as well as the Swissair Flight 111 Memorial
