Jonathan L and Mac sniffed out the puzzle picture as a view of Stockholm Cathedral, with the Stampen jazz club in the foreground. I’d hoped the English Happy Hour sign might be a little misleading, but apparently not.
The puzzle picture is in the oldest part of Stockholm, Gamla Stan (which means Old Town), but the other pictures here include a number from adjoining areas including Sodermalm. What they show is that Stockholm seems to be a city in love with unusual towers and roofs…and why not! I’ve also included a nice iron-work door gate, and a sign from near the Central Station with more than a hint of youthful rebellon.
Stay tuned for Puzzle #43 tomorrow!
This one would have been a Picture of the Day, but I’ve never been able to remember where in Stockholm the building is…if you know, please tell me!
