A Federal District Court judge in Oregon has ruled that the TSA’s no-fly list is unconstitutional because there is no way for a citizen who believes he or she was put on the list in error to get off. She ordered the government to come up with procedures that allow a citizen to challenge being placed on the list.
The judge pointed out that “international travel is not a mere convenience or luxury in this modern world. Indeed, for many, international travel is a necessary aspect of liberties sacred to members of a free society.”
