One of the most popular tourist attractions in the historic and beautiful city of Prague is situated on the southern wall of its City Hall, in the Old Town Square.
This is where you’ll find the city’s famous astronomical clock, which dates to the early 15th century. At the top of every hour there’s a crowd that gathers in the square waiting for the clock to chime. After the hour’s chime, there’s a parade of the 12 apostles above the astronomical dial.
When in Prague, be sure to join this crowd and enjoy the entertainment on the hour.
Definitely worth seeing. Been there several times and it’s always fascinating. I believe it’s the oldest working astronomical clock in the world. )
