Living in the Great White North, one eagerly looks forward to the spring (especially after this last harsh winter that we had). Ahhhh, spring, when snow melts, songbirds return, grass turns green, flowers bloom, and best of all…car enthusiasts take their prize possessions out of winter storage and put them back on the road where they belong.
I discovered a few weeks ago that many car enthusiasts from my city gather every Thursday evening at a local mall for “Cruise Night”, a time and place dedicated to where car lovers can show off their beautiful automobiles and talk cars. Apparently this started about the middle of May and will continue until about the end of September. I was amazed at how many awesome cars could be found in my humble little city, and I was impressed with how friendly and happy these proud automobile owners were to answer any questions one may have about their cars and allow you to take photos of their automotive gems. I spent over two hours looking at beautiful cars from different decades, taking photos, and chatting with some beaming owners. I would like to thank all of them for a fun evening. These car owners deserve to be proud of their cars, and I admire all the hard work they put into each and every one of them.
Over the next few weeks I will publish blogs dedicated to the beautiful cars I saw on “Cruise Night”, sorting the blogs by automobiles from a specific decade.
