Ryanair Ticketing through agents; codeshares next?

Low-cost carrier Ryanair has taken a big step toward the mainstream by making its tickets available through travel agents for the first time. They are partnered with Amadeus, the computerized reservation system used by much of the travel agency industry. The move also makes it possible in future for Ryanair to code-share segments with long-haul airlines. Will the future take you on an American Airlines flight to Zagreb with AA crossing the ocean and Ryanair taking you from there? MAYBE!

“Will the future take you on an American Airlines flight …crossing the ocean and Ryanair taking you from there?” I rarely say “never” but, in this case, never.  I’ve tried it and will say unequivocally, never again.  I have a personal rule which states, “if the only way to get there is on Ryanair, I won’t go there.”  The airline is a reflection of it’s founder, which is to say, trashy.
