KLM started flying in 1919, just 16 years after the Wright Brothers, and is now the oldest carrier flying. The few older starts that survived have become part of other carriers. Desert View Watchtower, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
