Shanghai, once the financial and shipping center of Asia, has weathered its ups and downs over the centuries. With the population of 24 million, it is currently the largest Chinese city by population. In recent years, Shanghai undergoes dramatic changes including its landscape as shown in those pictures I took during a recent visit.
Desert View Watchtower, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
Sounds like an interesting city. Do you like the old or new Shanghai better, DrY?
