Amazon is looking to start a hotel booking travel service, to compete with the likes of booking.com. It carries with it a large customer base and a lot of retailing clout. Interesting to see how this shakes out. More on this story at this link.

A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
