Gumbo’s Pic of the Day, December 23, 2014: Xian’s Dumpling House

While visiting Xi’an, the city where the famous Emperor Qin’s Terracotta Museum is located, we came cross a massive “Xi’an Dumpling House” — a tourist popular all-dumpling restaurant which serves up to 25 different types of dumplings in carefully crafted animal or vegetable shapes and in a variety of colors. Diners can choose from a varying list of combinations and the dumplingscan be served steamed or boiled right on the table in a hot pot.  An enjoyable experience after a long day of site seeing!
