The European Central Bank in Frankfurt revealed a €20 banknote with enhanced security features. The new note has a “portrait window” set in the hologram. When a light is shown on the €20 banknote , the window becomes transparent and reveals a portrait of the Greek mythological figure Europa, and she is visible on both sides of the note. It will be entered into circulation on November 25, 2015. The Europa series shows architectural styles from seven periods in Europe.
