This is Puerto Vallarta in Mexico…One of its many “squares” or plazas.
In Spain, or where they have a Spanish colonial history, these squares have retained their original use as an important part of the local community.
A place where young and old can meet. Share a conversation, food and maybe a game of chess.
They have withstood the developers plans – often located in prime positions where a new store would yield a good profit.
A vital part of any community. Something that would make a positive addition to my community.
Would your City be a better place with a little Spanish flair ?
