Having enjoyed innumerable long-distance walks in England, but only once before in France, I determined it was time for another, this time along the Burgundy Canal. It was spring, the weather was fine, accommodations, though farther apart than in England, were perfect and I could not have been happier.
These photos are a few of many that reflect my mood as I walked. I plan to share more here soon but, for now, as spring blossoms are appearing here in the Sierra Foothills, I’m inspired to start with these.
