A Chinese billionaire who’s been buying classic Chinese art works at auction is not likely ever to run out of loyalty awards; he’s racked up over 80 million American Express Membership Rewards points in the past few months using his card to buy two works at auction for—$45 million for a 15th-century Tibetan embroidery and $36 million for an ancient Chinese ceramic known as the Chicken Cup.
