Amazon has repeatedly denied it wants to move into the world of online travel agencies such as Expedia and Travelocity or booking sites like booking.com, but they keep making moves that look like that’s in their future.
The latest move is adding a new Amazon Destinations to their Amazon Local sites in several cities, offering “getaway” 2-3 day vacations in selected areas near those cities, such as the Catskills near New York.
