Booking.com Agrees to Allow Hotels in France, Italy, & Sweden to Charge Cheaper Rates

The French Competition Authority announced Tuesday that Booking.com has agreed to allow hotels in France, Italy and Sweden to charge cheaper Internet prices. Up to now, Booking.com has not allowed hotels who are  listed on Booking.com to charge cheaper prices anywhere else. Hotels listed on Booking still can’t charge lower prices on their own website, except for customers with loyalty cards. These changes start July 1
