Surf Air, a members only airline, has grown to 1,400 members and it has a waiting list of 600 people. It’s business plan targets business people traveling between Southern California and Silicon Valley and now is launching this October into the personal travel market by expanding to four weekend getaways cities : Santa Rosa, Monterey, Sacramento and Palm Springs. Membership costs $1000 to sign up and is $1750 a month . Members to fly as much as they want, skip TSA, and arrive a few minutes before takeoff.
