Nepal Airlines took delivery of its second new A320 in Hamburg yesterday (April 29) and, taking advantage of the planned delivery flight, German relief agencies loaded it with 5 tons of relief supplies for the earthquake stricken nation. A team of doctors and nurses will also take 10 seats on the inaugural flight.
The Hamburg-Doha-Kathmandu flight might leave as early as today—the schedule depends on when a landing slot can be opened for it at the quake-damaged Kathmandu airport. USA Today has MORE.
