Here are some photos taken during a recent winter trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic (a popular winter sun destination for snowbirds from Canada and the northern United States). The people were friendly! We enjoyed good food, a truly blue ocean and sky and, of course, abundant sunshine. Punta Cana is a memorable vacation destination.
A visit to the Desert View Watchtower on the eastern portion of the Grand Canyon’s South Rim. Constructed in the 1930s, it offers magnificent canyon views and a tie to the Native American history of the Canyon.
