Night at the Museum, British style!

Hundreds of British museums and historic sites are offering night-time activities this week, and the Guardian (UK) has picked out 16 to highlight as the best.

Among the offerings are overnight stays in museums, ghost walks, pop-up planetariums and re-enactments of Viking battles (hint: in those, the Brits don’t always win!). For full details, see the Museums at Night home page. For the Guardian’s picks, click HERE

It’s sounds like a great promotion.Uk’s Museums at Night ties in with Europe’s, La Nuit Des Musee, and takes place the weekend nearest May 18.
