American Express is set to open their latest Centurion Airport Lounge in Miami in June. It will be a ring shaped 8,000-square-foot space with tarmac views and a wall that resembles a wave. Miami chef Michelle Bernstein came up with the menu with features buttermilk-brined fried chicken and Greek-style local watermelon salad .
The cost will be $50 for AMEX Cardholders (free for AMEX Platinum Card or Centurion Members). A boarding pass with a confirmed reservation for same-day travel on any carrier and a government-issued I.D. is also required. Las Vegas, Dallas/Ft Worth, New York LaGuardia and San Francisco are already open and all feature free food from big-name chefs.
