There are many women working in aviation these days, but there’s room for more. And many of the women now working are not in the high-end jobs, including cockpit crews and mechanics. So, United Airlines recent selection of an all-woman crew to take delivery of its latest 737-900 was meant to send a signal to young women that opportunity is there.
