I was on another photography mission just west of Calgary when I heard this little guy chirping away at me. It took a moment for me to see it and from the frantic chirps, I thought I was being chastised for something. The expression on this little one’s face seemed to send a different message to me though, it was more of a curious expression and it seemed even a little delighted to see me there. I couldn’t resist staying for a bit and chirping back, it almost came right to me. Who knows, maybe I can speak squirrel!!
