Lufthansa starts implementing a more personal touch for long haul business class passengers starting this month. Flight attendants will pay more attention to individual passenger needs similar to an upscale restaurant. 4,500 flight attendants have been trained since May on this service and this concept has been tested on 130 flights with positive feedback before this rollout.
The flight attendants personally welcome guests on board by name, take their orders and set tray tables with ceramic tableware. In October more flights will get this Business Class service from Frankfurt to Asia and the Middle East
