Split ,Croatia by GokyB
A group of eldery women from the Italian Alps village of Daone went to the sea, For most of them, it was the first time in their lives to even see the sea and many have not been out of the valley surrounding their village. They took a coach to the Croatian island of Ugljan.
Many of the women had dreamed about a trip to the sea for years, but couldn’t afford it. They ended up funding it through crowd-funding and sent each of the 200 contributors a post card.
