Tropical Storm Erika has been downgraded, but her effect on the Caribbean cruise industry continues, bringing changes to cruise itineraries, and cancelling some port calls, although some cruises are now slated to resume their original plans.
National Hurricane Center reports that tropical storm warnings are still in effect for Bahamas and Puerto Rico, and urges South Florida residents to follow bulletins closely. Conditions there may affect Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian cruises scheduled to leave or arrive that area in the next few days.
