Sunrise over Tampa Bay
Tampa International Airport got it’s first non-stop flight to Germany on Friday. The five-day-a-week nonstop air service is on Lufthansa and will go to Frankfurt. The airport celebrated getting the new route by having a month long of events in a created German village at the airport.
Tampa International has made a concerted drive to bring more international flights to the region and with the addition of Lufthansa, the airport anticipates ending 2015 with a 70 percent bump in international passenger traffic compared to 2010.
