Hidden in a corner of Chesapeake Bay is Chesapeake City Maryland.
673 people live in this beautiful location.
Its painted houses. marina and finely manicured gardens make it a pleasure to visit each time I’m in the US.
I can’t drive past without visiting the Chesapeake Inn and taking in the view.
It’s so quiet with no through traffic. No industry.
Just a picture off a postcard.
That is a very pretty town, Garry. I imagine it has to have at least one good crab restaurant, right? It’s Maryland after all!
What brings a Liverpudlian to this quiet American community?
I was taken there a few years ago by my son to taste real crabcakes.
He’s been on the east coast for 15 years.
I think he’s the only Scouser (Liverpudlian) for 100 miles !
