A 29 year old woman, Bethany Hughes, will attempt to become the first documented woman to travel the length of the Americas by non-motorized means. The trip will take her from Ushuaia, Argentina, to Barrow, Alaska. She begins in December and it’s expected to take her 5 years to complete.
