Flatulent Goats Cause Emergency Landing

A Singapore Airline Cargo Plane on its way from Adelaide Australia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia  made an emergency landing in Bali because smoke alarms in the cargo area went off.  No fire or smoke was detected, just 2186 flatulent goats, and they caused he smoke alarm to go off.  After three hours the plane was allowed to continue and no further fire alarms were reported.

I’m astounded that anyone would care enough to ship goats by air.  I’m even more astounded to learn that a plane can fit more than 2100 of the beasts into its belly.  Perhaps we humans should stop complaining about crowding in the economy cabin.
