If you can believe it, Antoni Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona is entering it’s final construction phase. According to the current chief architect, Jordi Fauli, the structure will done in 2026, but decorations, etc. could take longer. The first stone was laid in 1882 and Gaudi took over the design in 1883 until his death in 1926. It will be Europe tallest cathedral.
