It’s been estimated that a huge percentage of the pictures on the internet are of cute cats. Now an art auction is about to offer a picture of cute cats that is huge (the painting, not the cats.)
Sotheby’s is selling the picture at auction on Tuesday, along with a collection of other 19th-century paintings. This one is 6′ x 8-1/2′ and weighs well over 200 pounds. No estimate on how many cats are in the painting.
It’s the work of Austrian painter Carl Kahler, who titled it “My Wife’s Lovers.” It’s expected to sell for between $200,000 and $300,000. For more details from thelocal.at, click HERE
