Hasbro and a joint U.S.- China movie studio, DMG Entertainment, have reached a deal to create ‘Transformers Live’ in a undisclosed Chinese city in 2017. It will the first live-action attraction featuring the Transformers characters.
It will be produced by S2BN Entertainment, the live entertainment company. S2BN’s chairman,Michael Cohl, describes it this way:
“Transformers Live will be a cross between an action-adventure spectacle, a theme park attraction and a theatrical show.”
