A festival to mark the 30th anniversary of the film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” is scheduled for May 20-22 for the Chicago area.
Festival organizers are planning a screening of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” hosted by film critic Richard Roeper. They are also planning a two-part bus tour of locations such as best friend’s Cameron’s house, the Art Institute, the Glenbrook North High School parking lot, a Lake Michigan overlook, Dearborn Street and Willis Tower. And the festival is planning on recreating the famous parade scene.
