On our trip to NYC in October of last year, we were able to see some pretty amazing sites. We saw the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Freedom Tower, the 911 memorial, as well as many bridges, so many bridges. There were so many memorable things to see in NYC but one unique thing that stuck with me was Rockefeller Plaza and the Ice Skating rink.
It was really cool to see all the skaters and just soak up the atmosphere. While I know it’s almost spring now, I have to say I really love fall and liked all the pretty foliage and decorations around the plaza in October. We ran around with a friend taking pictures and being silly. She’s is a native New-Yorker but still takes time to enjoy the city to its fullest. I can’t image a better time to visit NYC for the first time then in the fall. It was truly amazing.
I loved how they had little waterfalls and huge bowls of cornucopia lining the path to the plaza. All the colors were amazing. If you even get a chance to visit NYC in the fall, make sure to take some time to visit this gorgeous area. Of course it can’t compare to Central Park, but it is just as beautiful.
