If you live next door to an Airbnb rental that’s loud and annoying, Airbnb wants to know, and is launching a way for you to complain.
Details are unclear, including what registration will be necessary for a complaint. The new function will be rolled out first in Japan, and then later globally.
Complaints will be reviewed by Airbnb staff, who will then “take action as necessary.” The actions weren’t defined, but might include banning the offending renter. The complaints might also help hosts write more accurate reviews of renters.
