Ladakh is a mélange of mystical, ancient monasteries, of breathtaking landscapes and remote, untouched villages like Bodgang in Baltistan. The main outdoor attraction is trekking, anything from 1 to 23 day treks. But rafting on the Zanskar River is also popular. Ladakh has also become increasing popular for motor-bikers, climbing a windy mountain road up to 5.602 meters… the highest motorable road on earth!

Fascinating!! Thank you for sharing; your photos are excellent and so interesting!!
Beautiful images! My breathing rate increased in sympathy with how thin the air is up there…
Yes the air is very, very thin up there, especially crossing Khardung La at 5.602 meters and being blocked 3 hours at the top 😉
Thanks, this is a beautiful place, that well deserves the visit!
