Lola, an app that let users correspond via text message with a live travel agent, will debut in May. The service can book unlimited trips for the user , 24 hours a day, for $99 a year.
It’s got some big names behind it. The co-founders are Paul English, the co-founder of Kayak.com and Bill O’Donnell, who was Kayak.com’s chief architect. And just last week, Barney Harford, who is largely credited with turning around travel-booking site Orbitz before it’s sale to Expedia, will join it’s board as the nonexecutive chairman.
