On a visit to Norway, we did our own duplicate of the popular “Norway in a Nutshell” trip between Bergen and Oslo, including the Flamsbana mountain railroad, and a cruise on the Sognefjord.
We traveled from Bergen on one of the daily express boats, leaving just after sunrise. As we left the harbor, clouds and the sun combined to create a dramatic view.
The day was bright at points; at others there were intense clouds that gave us more visual drama, as in the picture below, a couple of hours later.
